We’re working with a unique and innovative brand, focused on making a positive difference in people’s lives, to find an established Design Director who is excited about changing the way people think, feel and behave through design.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on a good amount of responsibility at senior level. Working closely with the Senior Creative Director to develop and execute the creative strategy, this person will play a key role in evolving and improving the design function/offering in positive ways that build the business’s capabilities whilst streamlining processes and optimising resources at the same time.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on behavioural change products, programs and solutions for a huge range of global clients and different brands. We’re looking for someone who is confident driving design projects from initial, conceptual stages through to completion and delivery. A lot of the creative output is focused on campaigns that spark engagement and encourage participation so our ideal candidate will need significant experience developing thoughtful and impactful concepts for campaigns that are activated across multiple touchpoints, including digital.
You’ll have a strong creative voice within the business and will need to be confident presenting strategic ideas, concepts and solutions to internal stakeholders and clients alike. This role would really suit someone who has previous experience running a design studio/team but is equally comfortable being hands on with the day to day design work.
Our ideal candidate
Will need to have a strong background in engagement campaigns, branding and comms as well as significant experience running multi-functional teams.
Should be comfortable and confident speaking with clients to develop projects and drive business objectives.
Enjoys managing projects from initial conceptual stages through to completion, ensuring work is produced to highest standards and brilliantly crafted.
Needs to be a conceptual thinker, able to think strategically as well as creatively.
Has exceptional, confident and persuasive communication skills for building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
