The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional, passionate and self-motivated Midweight graphic designer to fill a creative, multifunctional role within the in-house Creative Team. The Midweight Graphic Designer will work alongside fellow creatives, generating, executing and delivering creative elements fitting with the brands’ ethos and marketing agendas.

The Opportunity

You will play an important role in delivering graphic solutions across the shows, both over the annual campaigns and onsite when required. You must be passionate about all things design – online, offline, multimedia, film, and photography.
The role will work closely with the Marketing and Operations Team to ensure timely development and delivery of assets as part of the overall yearly campaigns. The right candidate must individually be able to take all work from the concept stage, right through to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create artwork signage and collaterals on several events at once, often under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Design email marketing campaigns and social media assets.
  • Design for print from traditional formats to varied collaterals.
  • Develop online brochures.
  • Assist the senior team in conceptualising event experience or brand campaign assets.
  • Able to bring new ideas to the table or initiate better practice.
  • Breadth of thinking across multiple channels including experience design, digital, video and print.
  • Apply a certain design style across a range of material while ensuring artwork consistently represents our brand values and have the right look and feel.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years’ experience working within a fast-paced design or integrated agency.
  • Strong ability to take designs through to production of final artwork for both digital and print applications demonstrated in your portfolio.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • A creative thinker able to bring new ideas or develop new initiatives.
  • A good understanding of brand guidelines.
  • Deals well with pressure and tight turnaround for complex projects.
  • Excellent organisational skills and good time management.
  • A varied and versatile portfolio is a must.

Advantageous:

  • After Effects knowledge or general motion graphics skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
