To help us on our journey we are looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our in-house creative team. As a Senior, you will already have a solid background in delivering beautifully executed creative work under the e-commerce, CRM, social and digital marketing umbrella and have an excellent working knowledge of designing for print.
This a super-exciting time to be joining the business. We are currently going through a period of significant growth and to support that growth we are looking to build an exceptional creative team. Working closely with the Founder and Creative Lead this role will play a huge part in how the brand develops creatively over the next few years.
This is a fast-paced working environment, so attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease are a must. The creative opportunity is broad. You will be creating and delivering digital assets for the website, emails, social, display and paid social advertising, OOH and experiential design. You will spend time concepting ideas for seasonal photoshoots and supporting video content, so creating inspiring moodboards and having a good post-production knowledge would benefit. You will also be translating campaign creative into digital assets which are both engaging and commercially appealing. You should be confident in ideation, conceptualising as well as interpreting existing creative direction and adapting it for all devices and channels.
You will be responsible for ensuring creative projects are beautiful, effective and on-brand; providing ideas and inspiration to the creative team. Exploring new and exciting ways of challenging and innovating the FlowerBX brand; digitally, through new layouts, motion and typography. The role would suit someone who has previous experience in a similar role but might be looking to have more of a creative impact on the direction of the brand. Essential to the role is a solid experience in both digital and print design for a luxury/lifestyle/fashion brand. You will be responsible for championing a culture of creativity throughout the business, supporting the Creative Lead and mentoring mid-weight and junior team members. Keeping up to date with any digital advancements, trends and applying best practices.
Our ideal candidate
We’re looking for a creative thinker, someone who is brimming with ideas and is conceptually strong. Can produce inspiring moodboards and beautiful mock-ups. Exceptionally high taste levels with an acute eye for design detail are a must. Although most of your time will be spent designing for digital a good working knowledge of print design will be required. You will already be a seasoned Senior who can hit the ground running, is confident in leading projects but equally comfortable with the day-to-day work. Highly competent with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator/After Effects and a good knowledge of Sketch or Figma would be beneficial. Some knowledge of HTML would be advantageous. Social experience and motion capability are a must. So too is having the confidence to deliver outstanding work across all communication channels and devices.
Must be conceptually creative and inventive. Will have previous experience working within luxury, lifestyle brands. Has impeccable taste levels and a design aesthetic to match. This will be demonstrated in an impressive portfolio of work. Ability to work well, using own initiative, as well as collaboratively with the wider team. Has sound creative judgment and influence. Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with the broader team. A strong creative portfolio demonstrating beautiful and innovative design across all channels (including email, social, website and print).
