You’ll have…
- Previous experience working with a visual identities from concept to completion, defining brand guidelines and delivering brand collateral.
- The ability to roll out and artwork collateral across print and online projects.
- A strong understanding of current digital techniques, including web, social and template design.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD
- Experience with Adobe After effects and premier for video editing and animation graphics is a big bonus
- Excellent written, spelling, and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good working knowledge of designing for social platforms with high engagement (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Excellent layout skills across printed collateral, interactive PDFs, web/digital interfaces and the occasional PowerPoint documents
- You have a proven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a keen eye for razor sharp design
- You have a genuine passion for design, creativity and creating phenomenal experiences.
You’ll be doing…
- Supporting the team in brand exploration and creation
- Branding Concepts (supported by senior designers and creative director)
- Brand toolkit development
- Layout design, digital or print – strong type skills
- Responding creatively to client briefs, thinking around what’s being asked, and challenging where appropriate.
- Working both individually and as a team member on projects of all sizes across print, digital and social.
- Developing brands across all channels, whilst actively managing your own design projects and liaising directly with clients on a daily basis.
- Accurately brief, project manage and direct external resources (printers, photographers, copywriters).
- Helping maintain and raise our own creative standards across all areas of our work.
- Carry out project management and administrative duties effectively and efficiently (e.g. timesheets, liaising with clients, print/merchandise companies).
Person specification
Essential
- 2-4 years professional experience in an agency.
- Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator InDesign, XD) and some experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro. Working knowledge of the MS suite too.
- Professional, punctual, and polite.
- Highly organised, proactive, able to multitask and prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to request support when needed.
- A keen eye for detail and an absolute stickler for the highest standards in all areas of production.
- A strong team player, able to take direction and collaborate, but also happy to work independently.
- A great communicator, with excellent spoken and written English. Close attention to detail and accuracy is extremely important.
- Flexible, able to work in a smart and focused way, while also being open to change.
- Culturally aware – knows what’s going on in the world, what’s gone before and constantly thinking about what might come next.
- Friendly, approachable, diplomatic, and enthusiastic.
- Hardworking and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
