WellBeam is a fast growing, Bay Area-based health-tech company transforming clinical workflows along the continuum of patient care. We improve patient outcomes by offering critical interfaces for doctors & surgeons to coordinate care with the medical providers taking care of their patients post-discharge from hospital. This candidate must be a self-starter and capable of working autonomously, driving WellBeam product vision and strategy forward for our users

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Help conduct UX research interviews and usability studies to gain a deep understanding of our users’ motivations, goals, and pain points
  • Work closely with product to refine product requirements, user needs, customer needs, and business needs
  • Help inform and improve internal design processes
  • Demonstrate a sharp eye for detail, exceptional design thinking skills and highly developed organizational skills
  • Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders and propose design solutions (e.g. flows, wireframes, and sketches) that are informed by users’ direct input
  • Design pixel-perfect high-fidelity wireframes (using tools e.g. Figma) and interactive prototypes
  • Work with and enhance design system strategy to ensure a robust and scalable product
  • Ensure that WellBeam’s product meets quality and accessibility standards
  • Help manage special projects of all kinds that may come up from time to time (e.g., supporting design requirements for marketing and sales initiatives)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of working experience as a Product Designer
  • Solid experience with the entire product design process, from research and problem discovery through to detailed interaction and visual design
  • An innate sense of accountability, attention to detail, and an execution-oriented mindset

  • SaaS experience designing for native mobile applications (iOS and Android) as well as web applications using Google’s Material Design Library
  • A portfolio demonstrating research, analysis and synthesis of product requirements behind each design
