Dual location (home and campus). Our Marketing team is based at our Guildford campus.

The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the world’s largest law schools. With an impressive history dating back to 1876, we employ over 1,000 staff and have over 14,000 students studying on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with an alumni network in excess of 100,000. We were the first-ever independent institution to be granted degree awarding powers and in 2012 we gained university title. With a rich heritage and a reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices, we continuously focus on developing the best legal and business minds. In 2016, we opened our leading Business School, further enhancing our reputation as a full service legal, business and educational training specialist, operating from campuses throughout the UK, Berlin and Hong Kong and an Online campus.

What really sets us apart from other universities is the guiding principle that future lawyers and business leaders should learn in a realistic, professional and contemporary context, with plenty of practical interactive engagement. That’s why we keep our contact hours high and our teaching groups small.

Due to significant student growth, we are looking to recruit a number of creative roles to join us on our exciting journey.

We are looking for a talented Brand Designer to join our growing in-house Design Team. You will be working alongside a talented team of multi-disciplinary designers on market-leading campaigns, exciting new brand concepts and unique digital and print advertising. You will provide a valuable design resource across a range of disciplines including digital marketing collateral, banners, brochures, signage, press and posters and large format print.

You must have a passion for branding and design, have an outstanding portfolio demonstrating your skills across a wide variety of design disciplines and a meticulous eye for detail.

This role is home-based with the requirement to attend the studio on occasion at line manager’s request.

Our approach

Diversity and Inclusion is central to everything we do. We are actively committed to promoting and participating in good practice in the way we attract and retain staff, as we appreciate the value and benefits of a truly diverse workforce. Aligned to this is the opportunity to join one of our three self-organised staff networks for Black, Asian and Minority staff, Disabled staff and LGBTQ+ staff.

We celebrate difference and recognise the benefits that this brings to our inclusive culture, including age, disability, gender identity and expression, religion, race, sex, sexual orientation and socio economic background. The University is committed to ensuring our workforce is reflective of our diverse student population and, therefore, we are striving to increase the representation of Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds across all roles and at all levels.
